Out of all our experiences in Peru — Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Cusco — this coffee experience was our favorite. We learned the process from ripe cherries all the way to traditional roasting and grinding. Guide David was our translator. Totally a worthy use of funds and time!
We were on the "Full 2-day coffee and cacao experience" in August. It was amazing! Our guide Omar was incredible. We learned about bio-organic farming and visited a coffee shop at 4000m. Now we know how much work goes into every cup of coffee.
A truly unique experience. We learned everything about coffee and cacao from seed to cup. The guides were passionate and knowledgeable, and the scenery in the cloud forest was breathtaking. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco!
