The Walking City Tour Lima is the perfect experience for travelers looking to connect with the vibrant modern life and republican history of the Peruvian capital. Furthermore, our Walking City Tour Lima includes tastings of exotic fruits and typical snacks, allowing you to savor Peru’s biodiversity while you walk. Therefore, it is the ideal choice to understand why Lima stands as the gastronomic and cultural capital of South America. Highlights: Morro Solar · Barranco (Bridge of Sighs) · Love Park · Kennedy Park · Surquillo Market. Duration: Half-day (approx. 4 to 5 hours). Price: $60.00 USD (1 person) / $50.00 USD (From 2 people). Group Size: Maximum 10 people (Personalized service). Includes: Pick-up, transport, guide, entrance fees, and snack tasting. Enjoy the best panoramic view of the Lima bay from Morro Solar. Cross the romantic Bridge of Sighs in the bohemian district of Barranco. Admire street art and murals in the narrow streets of historic neighborhoods. Visit the Love Park in Miraflores with its famous sculptures and Pacific views. Explore a traditional market in Surquillo and taste exotic fruits from the coast, Andes, and Amazon.
Heights and History in Chorrillos Our journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel as we head toward one of the highest points in the city: Morro Solar (300 meters above sea level). From this historic viewpoint, we will learn about the pivotal battles in Peruvian history while enjoying an unparalleled panoramic view of the entire Lima coastline. Art and Bohemian Vibes in Barranco We then descend into Barranco, Lima’s smallest and most artistic district. We will walk through its main square and cross the famous Bridge of Sighs (Puente de los Suspiros). We’ll explore its historic neighborhoods and narrow streets filled with stunning street art and murals that bring the old colonial mansions to life. Miraflores: Love and Cats Next, we continue to the Miraflores cliffs to visit the romantic Love Park (Parque del Amor). Inspired by Gaudí’s style, this park features beautiful mosaic walls and the iconic “The Kiss” sculpture by Victor Delfín. From here, we will walk toward Kennedy Park, the heart of the district, famous for its history and the friendly street cats that live among the trees. Authentic Flavors in Surquillo Our final stop is a traditional local market in Surquillo. This is the ultimate spot to experience Peru’s culinary diversity. We will walk through the stalls to learn about local produce and enjoy a tasting of exotic fruits from the Coast, the Andes, and the Amazon, as well as some traditional local snacks. Return Finally, we will provide a comfortable transfer back to your hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Barranco.

Pick-up and drop-off from your hotel (Miraflores, San Isidro, or Barranco). Professional bilingual tour guide (English/Spanish). Local snacks, tapas, and “piqueos”. Exotic fruit tasting from the three regions of Peru. All entrance fees, tolls, and parking. Full lunch (only snacks and tastings included). Tips and personal expenses.
Clothing: Wear light, breathable clothes and, most importantly, comfortable walking shoes. Protection: Don’t forget high-SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, even if the sky looks overcast (the Lima “garúa” can still cause sunburn). Electronics: Bring a camera or smartphone with plenty of storage and a spare battery/power bank. The views from Morro Solar and the murals in Barranco are incredibly photogenic. Hydration: Carry a reusable bottle of water to stay hydrated during the walks. Dietary Restrictions: Since our Walking City Tour Lima includes local snacks and exotic fruit tastings, please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. Pick-up Policy: Complimentary pick-up and drop-off are available for hotels in Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco. If you are staying in another district, a small additional fee will apply. Group Size: We keep our groups small (usually 6 to 7 people, never more than 10) to ensure you get a personalized experience and can easily interact with our expert guide. Local Flavor: The Surquillo Market is a real working market; therefore, it’s the best place to buy authentic Peruvian spices or coffee to take home. Ask your guide for the best stalls!
1. How much walking is involved in this tour? This is a combined tour. We use our comfortable transport to move between districts and then perform moderate walks of 20 to 30 minutes at each stop. It is suitable for all ages with normal mobility. 2. Is it safe to try the fruits at the local market? Yes, absolutely. We only visit trusted stalls that meet hygiene standards, and our guide will assist you in selecting the best seasonal fruits from the Coast, Andes, and Amazon. 3. What happens if it rains? Lima rarely has heavy rain, but it often has a light mist (drizzle). The tour runs regardless of the weather, as the mist doesn’t interfere with the activities or the views. 4. Can I join the tour if I’m staying in Downtown Lima? Yes, but since our main route focuses on the southern districts, we may ask for a small additional fee for the pick-up, or we can coordinate a central meeting point in Miraflores.
