The Ica Huacachina Paracas Tour will be a great option for you; you will be able to experience a variety of thrilling and exotic events – buggy rides, sandboards, tasting Peru’s renowned drink Pisco, adventure to the oasis in the desert, and so much more!

Ica is located 4 hours away from Lima city, it is fully surrounded by the locations for wonderful activities. On day 1, we are going to stay at a hotel near the oasis of Huacachina where we will be able to enjoy buggy rides and sandboards on the beautiful dunes. On day 2, we will have adventures in Paracas. In specific, we will visit two wonderful locations: Ballestas Islands where we could meet a variety of unique animals such as sea lions and penguins, and Paracas National Reserve where we will witness the renowned desert listed in Guinness World Record (as the driest desert in the world).

Itinerary

Ica Huacachina Paracas Tour Itinerary

Day 1: PICK-UP, VINEYARD, HUACACHINA, BUGGY, SANDBOARDING, SUNSET

08:00	Pick-up at your hotel by our professional tour guide and driver. To get to Ica, it will take about 4 hours.
12:30	Lunch in a local restaurant and a tour of vineyards where we could learn about the production of pisco and wine including sowing, harvesting, and processing. During the tour, we will be able to taste a variety of famous piscos and wines of the region. * Lunch is not a part of our tour. However, we will help you order a delicious meal which usually costs approximately 35 soles (or about $10.00).
14:30	Check-in at a nice and cozy hotel located near the oasis. Inside the hotel, you could enjoy the pool, and outside you could chill out in some of the local bars and restaurants that are within walking distance.
17:00	Thrilling events in the beautiful sand dunes of Huacachina – dune buggies and sandboarding! You could enjoy the mystical view of the sand dune, and if adventurous, welcome to enjoy sandboarding down the dunes.
18:00	Beautiful and splendid sunset in a desert oasis.
18:30	Enjoy and relax at the Hotel.

Day 2: BALLESTAS ISLANDS, PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE

07:00	Transport to Paracas; we leave early for the better weather and nicer boat tour.
08:30	A boat tour from the port of Chaco in Pisco a glorious “Ballestas Islands.” On the boat, you could enjoy watching charming families of sea lions, a variety of birds, and unique penguins in the hot weather. You will be also amazed by watching the stunning rock formations. *For the reason that there are no private boat tours to the islands, we have to share the boats which are managed by Peruvian marines. And the tour will take about 2.5 hours.
11:00	The tour in marvelous and isolated Paracas National Reserve which is listed in the Guinness World Record as the driest desert on Earth: Atacama Desert. With extensive knowledge, our guide will give you an explanation about the desert formation; you will be able to enjoy the marvelous landscape and the lake in which many migratory birds are stopping by on their trip from south to north. With some luck, even great pink flamingos may show up!
13:00	Lunch at a local restaurant which is specialized in seafood. Besides seafood, you can have a variety of options. * Lunch is not a part of our tour. However, we will help you order a delicious meal which usually costs approximately 35 soles (or about $10.00).
14:00	Leaving Paracas and return trip to Lima. We will drop you off at your hotel in Lima at approximately 18:00.

Tips:

For the more comfortable travel, we recommend you to bring the following items.

Sunblock, comfortable walking shoes and clothes, a light sweater (for the boat tour), a hat, sunglasses, and water.

The departure will be at 8:00. Our pick-up and drop-off will be provided only for the hotels in Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, or Lima center. For the other locations, we will need to charge additional fees.
