Salkantay Trek To Machu Picchu 5d/4n

Salkantay Trek To Machu Picchu 5d/4n

    5 DAYS - 4 NIGHTS

    Description

    DESCRIPTION

We invite you to embark on this trail as a wonderful alternative to the traditional Inca Trail, to arrive at Machu Picchu on foot. You will pass by unparalleled views of high Andean mountains, glaciers, and sub-tropical and tropical rain forest. The difficulty level of this hike is moderate to advanced, therefore we recommend you are in good physical shape and also that you arrive to Cusco two days before the hike to properly acclimate to the altitude.

It is possible to combine the third day of this trek with the coffee tour that our partners (local farming families) offer as part of our organization. You will be able to learn about the world of coffee, its process of production and be able to rest up in comfortable rooms with hot water. Share in each family’s life-style and daily labor on the farm. This unforgettable experience will let you get to know a local farming family.

Time frame: Start time day 1 4:00am – End time day 5 10:00pm

How often: Every day in the months May to September, for other dates contact us!
