The Peruvian city of Lima is fully enriched with both historical and modern locations, wonderful sightseeing spots for both artitectures and natural landscapes.

In our half-day tour with our knowledgeable guides, you will have a prenty of opportunities to visit a variety of the must-see landmarks in Lima including historical “Morro Solar”, an artistic district of Barranco and Miraflores, the traditional market in Surquillo (get to taste some local foods there), and many more!

Lima Walking City Tour Itinerary

• Our travel will start from the one of the highest points of Lima, which is located in Chorrillos district: a perfect place for observing the urbanscape of Lima. From there, we will journal towards the first must-see place “Morro Solar” (300 masl). With an excelent view, we will get educated about the history of Peru and this ancient spot.

• And then, we will take a vist to Barranco which is the smallest district of Lima and famous as the bohemian and artistic place. In Barranco, we will visit the plaza, where we could find the well-known romantic location “Puente de los suspiros”. Also, we will sightsee the historical neighborhoods and its narrow streets fully enriched with beautiful arts on walls.

• After Barranco, we will visit Miraflores, one of the richiest and colorful districts in Lima. In Miraflores, we could discover another romantic location “Parque Del Amor” which also has very artsy sculpture carved by well recognized local artist Victor Delfín. From the Parque Del Amor, we will also be able to enjoy an atonishing view of the Peruvian ocean.

• And after visiting Miraflores, we will walk towards and throughout “Parque Kennedy”, the classical location in where we will get to know the history and where we could enjoy playing with cats on streets and trees.

• As the last spot of our tour, we go to the traditional local market in Surquillo district and have some local snacks. It is also a perfect place in Lima to get knowledge about the local products and the Peruvian gastronomy. Throughout the tour, we will be able to do the tasting of many exotic local fruits from different regions of Peru (such as Coast, Andes and Amazon.

Our Tips

• To wear comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat, take a bottle of water with you and spare battery for your camera.

• Throughout our tour, we will get to taste the local drinks and snacks. Please let us know about your dietary restrictions in advance when booking.

• With our prices, we could offer pick-up and drop-off only to the hotels in Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco. If your hotels are in other places, we have to ask for a small fee.

• Please understand that the fuel is one of the most expensive things in Peru besides water.

• Please note that our regular group size is from 6 to 7. For some special occasions, we could offer the group of 10 people, but NEVER more than 10 (this is ONLY for the people who start their tours from the hotels and apartments within Lima)

• If you have a big group of friends or family with more than 10 people, please send us an email, then we will try to give a best solution.
